Bluefin Tuna
Season: July to November
Max Guests: 4 fishermen
Method: Trolling
Experience: Some fishing or boating skill is helpfulBluefin tuna are highly sought after and a must-catch for many anglers. Known for their speed and strength, the thrill of hooking one is unbeatable! These trips come with risks and rewards; sometimes you might not catch any, while other times you could land several. Most bluefin in the SF Bay Area weigh between 120-160 lbs, but catches over 200 lbs can happen!
Fish are shared equally among guests. Trips leave from San Francisco Bay or Bodega Bay, running from 5 AM to 3:30 PM. Fresh bluefin opens up endless meal options like poke bowls or marinated teriyaki steak. All gear, tackle, and bait are provided—just bring your lunch!

Halibut
Season: March to October
Max Guests: 5 fishermen
Method: Trolling or drifting
Experience: Good for all experience levelsHalibut fishing often takes place in San Francisco Bay in the springtime. Coastal ocean in summer and fall months. Striped bass are commonly caught while fishing for halibut. Limit 2, min. size 22"
Running from 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM (or about 30 min before sunrise). Trips are 8.5 hours or when the boat reaches limits. Halibut are great eating fish, flaky with a mild taste, and can be cooked in many different ways. All gear, tackle, & bait is included. Just bring your lunch.

Rockfish/Lingcod
Deepwater Season: April, Oct, Dec
Coastal Season: May, June, July, Sept & Nov
Max Guests: 5 fishermen
Method: Drifting
Experience: Good for all experience levels
Deepwater is 300 feet or more, while coastal is 120 feet or less. Depending on the month, we depart from San Francisco Bay and go out past the Golden Gate Bridge or from Bodega Bay.Running from 6am to 2:30PM (or about 30 min before sunrise). Trips are 8.5 hours or when boat reaches limits. Rockfish and Lingcod are a flaky fish great for fish tacos or fish n chips. All gear, tackle, & bait is included. Just bring your lunch.

Albacore Tuna
Season: July to October
Max Guests: 4 fishermen
Method: Trolling or Jigging
Experience: Some fishing or boating skill is helpful.
This is my favorite fish to target. It's not uncommon to get double, triple and quad hook ups and have days with 20-30 or even more fish in the boat.Trips will depart from Bodega Bay or Fort Bragg. Running from 5AM to 3:30PM. Albacore is a great eating fish in so many ways. Can, smoke, sear, or sushi, it's so good anyway you prep it! All gear, tackle, & bait is included. Just bring your lunch.

Dungeness Crab
Season: November to December
Max Guests: 5 fishermen
Method: Hoop nets or Traps (regulation dependent)
Experience: Good for all experience levels
Optional to pair with rockfish/lingcod for a combo trip.Trips depart from Bodega Bay. Running 6AM to 2:30PM (or about 30 min before sunrise). Trips are 8.5 hours or when boat reaches limits. Crabs are divided up at the end, you keep the rockfish you catch. With seafood the fresher the better. That can never be truer then with crab. Don’t buy crab at the store, come home with crab for the whole family instead! All gear, tackle, & bait is included. Just bring your lunch.

Salmon
Season: 2025 June 7/8 & Sept 4-7
Max Guests: 5 fishermen
Method: Trolling
Experience: Good for all experience levelsSalmon fishing was closed in California in 2023 & 2024. In 2025 they gave us 6 days to fish because of quotas that will be reached. Lets hope in 2026 we get more days to fish for salmon!
